AS STATED IN THE DESCRIPTION: does not come with the AirTag
Just as a case doesn’t come with the phone 🙄
But I love mine, worth the money I feel. The quality is great and I feel it will hold up.

Since AirTags are new to the market there aren’t a lot of keychain choices out there yet and, essentially, no reviews for those that do exist. When picking out my keychain I had to rely on logic and best guesses. All the silicone keychains where you slip the AirTag in were immediately crossed off my list. If you can fairly easily slip them in, that means that they can fairly easily slip out. I don’t want to constantly be looking for my AirTag at the bottom of my purse or under my car seat because it slipped out of the silicone. The other option I immediately dismissed was Belkin’s twist-and-lock design. While I haven’t used that particular product for my AirTag, I have other products that are designed with that same twist-and-lock latch and, when jostled or dropped, the two pieces always end up flying apart.
This leather keychain seemed like the most secure option at the time and, I have to say, it is very well designed. The snap is secure and requires a little bit of force to open or close. Even if, for some strange reason, it became unsnapped, the AirTag seats perfectly in the leather holes and would not come out on its own. The silver part of the AirTag actually pushes through one of the leather holes which causes it to stick in place. So much so that I had the AirTag in crooked (Apple logo and my engraved initials were sideways) and I couldn’t turn the AirTag right-side-up while it was seated in the leather. I had to completely remove it, straighten it and put it back in. It is that secure of a hold.
I did see some cheaper non-Apple branded knock-offs out there but, at the time of this review, most had only one hole for the AirTag to peek through. I didn’t chose those options because, not only did they have a 1+ month projected ship date, they would also block the engraving I had Apple do on my AirTag. Since there are 4 AirTags in this house, the engraving is more than a “cute” addition - it also indicates which AirTag is which. Holes on both sides of the keychain allow for the engraving/identification to show.
Overall, I would purchase this keychain again but, let’s be honest, it is absurdly priced. The keychain is more expensive than the $29 AirTag.
Very easy to use
